A footnoted benefit ledger under the buy box
"Scientifically-proven benefits¹" heads four columns, each with a bold lead phrase and one line, and the footnote ties the claim to its source.

What it is
Directly under the buy box, a band headed "Scientifically-proven benefits" with a footnote marker lists four outcomes in columns, each a bold lead phrase plus one line: relieves pain and discomfort, increases flexibility, reduces DOMS, activates muscles.
Why it works
A footnote marker is a small promise that the claim can be checked, and that changes how the whole band is read. Bold lead phrases make the four benefits scannable in a second, and placing the band right under the buy box catches the shopper who scrolls just past the price looking for a reason.
How to test it
- Hypothesis
- Adding a footnoted benefit ledger directly under the buy box will lift add-to-cart rate by pairing scannable benefits with a visible source.
- Primary metric
- Add-to-cart rate (product page sessions)
- Guardrail metric
- Footnote click rate, as a read on how many shoppers check the source
