cazyweb Pulse - Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. What Pulse is
cazyweb Pulse is an internal work-time tracking tool used by the cazyweb team. It is a browser extension that team members install on their own work browser and connect to their cazyweb account. It records how work time is distributed across the websites and web applications used during the workday, and shows that information to cazyweb administrators in the internal cazyweb dashboard. It is not intended for use by the general public.
2. What Pulse records
While the browser is in use, Pulse records:
- Active tab domain: the hostname of the website in the active tab (for example,
figma.com). Full URLs, paths, and query strings are not recorded. - Active tab title: the title of the active tab.
- Idle state: whether the user is active, idle, or the screen is locked.
- Timing: the start and end time of each activity period, summarised into per-day totals.
- Device metadata: the browser and operating system name, used to label paired devices.
3. What Pulse never collects
Pulse does not collect any of the following:
- Full URLs, page paths, or query strings.
- Page content, form inputs, or anything you type.
- Keystrokes, mouse coordinates, or clipboard contents.
- Screenshots, screen recordings, or webcam/microphone data.
- Passwords or any data from password fields.
- Activity in Incognito windows (Pulse does not run there).
4. How the data is used
The recorded activity is sent only to cazyweb's own server at https://dashboard.cazyweb.com and is used solely to show cazyweb administrators how team work time is distributed across applications, for internal productivity and operations purposes. The data is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party, and is not used for advertising or any purpose unrelated to this single function.
5. Who can see it
Recorded activity is visible only to cazyweb administrators within the internal cazyweb dashboard, and to the team member themselves for their own devices. It is not exposed to clients or any external party.
6. Consent and control
Pulse is installed voluntarily by team members and is paired to an account with a one-time code. A team member can disconnect any device at any time from the cazyweb Team Portal, or remove the extension from their browser, which stops all further collection. The extension shows a persistent toolbar icon while it is active.
7. Data storage and retention
Activity data is stored on cazyweb's own infrastructure. A short-lived local copy is kept in the browser's extension storage only until it has been uploaded, after which it is removed. Pulse retains activity data for as long as it is needed for internal operations; requests to delete a team member's data can be made to the contact below.
8. Contact
